Vintage Table Top Picture Frame by David Marshall (circa 1980s)
SKU 2390
A striking table top picture frame by renowned designer David Marshall, dating to the 1980s. Weighty and tactile, this well-proportioned piece features a cast aluminium outer frame with two more concentric rectangles - one of raised brass - and another of aluminium. The maker's mark is impressed at the lower left hand of the outer frame. The usual surface variations, nicks, and marks that exemplify Marshall's aesthetic have, in this case, given way to symmetry, linearity and precision. The frame is in good overall condition as is the easel back which supports it. Please enjoy the many photos accompanying this listing. Upon request a video will be provided.
