Mid-Century Italian wall mirror with brass frame and top flourish (circa 1960s). This mirror is simply elegant and characterful in a modern, Gio Ponti style. It is classically-shaped presenting a charming top flourish in the form of a decorative crown with a rope motif outlining the frame. The backing is of sturdy wood and a stylish metal cross-bar for incredible support and long life. The mirror frame is in overall good condition with a characterful patina. The glass presents some markings particularly near the bottom which minimises the overall visual effect. It is a stunning piece. It is full of character and a conversation piece.
