Modern industrial-style ceramic vase (c. 1970s) by Alessio Tasca. Minimalist, abstract snail-shaped ceramic vase in limestone-coloured mottled glaze with line motif from the Italian school. This piece combines an industrial look yet draws inspiration from Japanese minimalism. Both a vase and a beautiful sculpture at the same time. In very good overall condition. About the Artist: Alessio Tasca (1929-2020) was born in Nove, Vicenza, Italy. Tasca is a world renowned prize-winning ceramicist whose creations appear in institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome. His creations have been honoured in the Biennale in Venice and appeared in the Salone di Milano.
