Coffee table with leaf motif earthenware tiles by Roger Capron (circa 1970s). This charming rectangular-shaped low table is a quintessential example of collectible Capron. There are nature-themed tiles with a multitude of beautiful leaves impressed into the earthenware top - some are outlined in white ceramic. The legs are steel - very rare for Capron tables. It is simple, functional and rustic yet very stylish at the same time - filled with character. A unique piece of Capron history for connoisseurs of this celebrated master and for those looking for an original piece for their home or workplace. In good overall condition commensurate with age and usage. Stamped on the table surface is the maker's signature. While the table top is in good condition with only minor imperfections, the metal legs show blemishing, nicks and scratches commensurate with age and usage.
