Vintage brass bottle pourer and display stand by David Marshall (circa 1990s). A sculpturally interesting bottle rest with an old fashioned retaining screw and plate, is visually stunning and tactile at the same time. Perfect for a counter top display of your favourite wine label or to impress your guests with an elegant pouring in their dinner glasses. It is in overall good condition with characterful marks, nicks and blemishes consistent with its age and usage. In fact, they add much vintage charm to the piece. About the Designer: More than fifty years ago, attracted by the climate, light and magnificent scenery, David Marshall left his native Scotland, settled in southern Spain and commenced his artistic career. Inspired by the mountainous surroundings and all the detritus of nature – David developed a thriving design business working with institutional and private clients worldwide. His metal works from the 1980s have become iconic and are now seriously collectible pieces.
