'Verdant Tuscan Forest View', oil on board, (1919), by Italian artist, Umberto Gambassini. One of the rare paintings still in existence by this accomplished artist, this landscape view in springtime is magnificent. The artist beautifully captures the light as it illuminates the tree's trunk and leaves. The blue Tuscan sky peeks through the trees uplifting the verdant scene and the spirits of the viewer. You can own this piece of history created a century ago. In very good vintage condition commensurate with age. Artwork signed: 'U Gambassini 1919' in lower right hand corner. Upon request, a video clip of the work may be provided for added context.
