Customs Duties and Taxes
Items shipped internationally may be subject to customs duties and sales or Value Added Tax (VAT) set by the destination country. These fees are in addition to the price you are charged when checking out.
For purchased items BIA do offer a 7 day cooling off-period whereby the customer is entitled to a full refund (excluding shipping charges), no questions asked. To notify us that you wish to cancel the order, simply contact us. Once the products reach us and are confirmed to be in the same condition at shipping, we will issue a refund to your original payment account within 5 business days. All sales are final after 7 days unless the goods in question are proven faulty/unfit for purpose. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We encourage BIA shoppers to view vintage items in person when possible. Please contact us if you would like to view an item before purchase. Our private showroom is located in London, SE16, near Canada Water underground station. In the case of high value items, BIA may be able to convey the item to your home to facilitate a viewing in your own space. This applies to London post codes only.
'Untitled' abstract painting, acrylic and wax crayon on fine art paper, (circa 2000), by Yiannis Kadras (b. 1962). A vibrant and colourful abstract composition with pink, coral, greens and blues. It is harmonious in its composition and would enliven any space in your home or office. Newly framed and in excellent condition. Upon request, a video of the work may be provided for context.
About the Artist: Yiannis Kadras was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1962 where he took an interest in art at a young age. In 1983 he graduated from the Benkov School of Fine Arts in Tashkent (1979 - 1983) and in 1990 graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the Ostrovski Institute. Throughout his studies he was awarded a full arts scholarship. Kadras is now based in Athens, Greece where he has become a member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts in 1996. Kadras has an international following and his works are sold at auction by the major houses.
