'Reclining Nude with Parakeet' oil on canvas (circa 1950s). An impressionist portrait of a classically posed reclining nude with her beloved parakeet. Sumptuous muted colours which have aged so gracefully add character to this very characterful work of art. Regrettably, nothing is known of the artist. This does not detract from the context of such a beautiful piece which speaks immediately speaks to the viewer. Signed in lower right hand corner: "Hauet L". In fair vintage condition commensurate with its age; in original mid-century frame with linen slip.
