Rattan Desk / Vanity Table and Chair by Louis Sognot (circa 1950s)
SKU 0535, 0545
Rattan desk or vanity table and chair set by Louis Sognot (circa 1950s). An absolute charmer and an icon of the era. There are two drawers located under the desk with stylishly curved drawer handles. Underneath, a sensuously designed storage space. Beautiful rattan canes connect the legs and horizontals forming the support structure for the table. Overall the piece is in good vintage condition with characterful blemishes and nicks commensurate with age and attesting to its use and history. A matching chair pairs beautifully with the table. Upon request a video of the table will be provided.
