Mid-century Italian wall mirror with brass frame (circa 1950s). The mirror sports a very original shape - always classically elegant and distinctive in a modern Gio Ponti style. In fair overall condition, a characterful vintage patina is on the brass frame and the glass has several blemishes commensurate with age. The brass presents a striped motif and a decorative seashell ornament tops the mirror.  Lighter than many in this style, it is therefore easier to handle and hang.
