Mid-Century Italian Wall Mirror with Brass Frame and Top & Bottom Flourishes (circa 1950s)
Mid-Century Italian wall mirror with brass frame and top and bottom flourishes (circa 1950s). This mirror is simply elegant and characterful in a modern, Gio Ponti style. It is of a rectangular shape with beveled glass at the edges, strong lines and a wonderful presence and elegance. The mirror is in overall good vintage condition with evident blemishing. There is a characterful, aged patina on the brass frame consistent with age and usage. The structural wooden frame on the rear is marked and blemished. Please see accompanying photographs. Upon request a video of this piece will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a mid-20th Century vintage mirror. Accordingly, the glass will often have markings and blemishes characteristic of mirrors of this age. If you would prefer glass in pristine condition, please let us know and we will provide a quote with additional costs to replace the vintage glass.
