Mid-Century French ceramic tripod bowl by Olivier Pettit (circa 1960s). A diminutive piece with incised decoration of stylised birds in blue and clay enamel on an ochre background with a geometric frieze of vertical lines. The signature is incised on the underside: 'OP'. In good overall condition. Upon request a video may be provided.

About the Artist: Olivier Pettit (1918-1979) born in Paris and was an alumni of the Beaux-Arts there. He is best known as a French sculptor and ceramicist. His works are widely collected and show at the major European auction houses. He died in 1979 in Draguignan.
