Italian vintage brass table lamp (circa 1960s), of a striking hourglass or "diabolo" silhouette formed from two joined cones, meeting at a slender brass collar at the centre. The upper cone houses the light source beneath a frosted glass diffuser set into the rim, while the lower cone forms a substantial, weighty base which also houses the power button. The brass carries a characterful aged patina throughout attesting to its age, with some surface pitting adding character, warmth and depth. In fair overall condition commensurate with age and use.
