A large 'eared' vase (Vase à Oreilles) by artist Roger Capron (circa 1950s) who founded the craft-based workshop in Vallauris, France, l'Atelier Callis. This eye-catching vase features a colourful band with repeating flower motif in the centre and near the lip, over a milky-white, satiny surface. It is magnificent, uplifting and 100% collectible, yet at the same time, retains its Provençal charm with an unaffected painting style. In good overall condition. This rare, lovely eared vase is a quintessential example of collectible Capron and a trademark of his style from this era.
