Aluminium and Brass Table Top Christmas Decoration by David Marshall (circa 1980s)
SKU 2389
Table top Christmas decoration with tea light holder by David Marshall (circa 1980s). Cast in aluminium and anchored by a solid brass base, this sculptural piece features a recessed void designed to hold a single tea light—creating a subtle and atmospheric glow. As with all of Marshall’s work, the piece celebrates raw texture and form: the surface bears deliberate variations, marks, and nicks that reflect the Brutalist ethos and the hand-finished nature of his process. Both weighty and visually compelling, it makes a distinctive seasonal accent and an exceptional Yuletide gift for lovers of design. In good overall condition. The underside retains the original leather base, stamped with the maker’s mark—an iconic detail that affirms its provenance and enhances its collectability. Please enjoy the many photos accompanying this listing. Upon request a video will be provided.
