Aluminium and brass brutalist style tray in the style of David Marshall (circa 1980s). The tray is symmetrical overall rather than the brutalist irregularity more commonly found in this style. The brass handles at the ends visually lift the aluminium structure and are complemented by the serrated cross shape in the centre. There is no maker's mark on this particular piece. The bottom has a worn leather base. Overall, this piece is in delightfully fair vintage condition with characterful marks consistent with its fabrication, age and usage including a blemished area in the middle of the brass cross.
