'Women Tending Flowered Field' (Femmes au Champ Fleuri), oil on board (circa 1960s), impressionist work by French Artist Antoine Bogey (1943 - ). A beautiful Provençal day sees two hatted women in summer dresses tending a beautiful field of colourful flowers in red, yellow and white. Just beyond them, an abundant field of lavender very typical of this famous region which has been painted by some of the most noted artists in the world. In excellent vintage condition. Newly framed. About the Artist: Antoine G. Bogey, French artist born in Toulouse in 1943. Known for his landscapes of the Provençal countryside, Mediterranean villages along the French Côte d'Azur and life in France. Bogey's artworks are collected internationally and have been sold at major European auction houses.
