Small vintage French stoneware table lamp by Raymonde Leduc (circa 1970s). Rustic sandstone coloured body has plant motifs inlaid on both sides. The horizontal surface at the top is in a dark wood. In fair overall condition with some characterful vintage blemishes on either side. In the style of Roger Capron. Maker's mark appears on the base of one side of the lamp. About the Artist: Raymonde Leduc is famous for using the plants of Provence's garrigue to inlay the decoration in his ceramic pieces. Leduc was a student of the master ceramicist from Vallauris, France, Roger Capron. Capron's creations contributed to a veritable renaissance of pottery and ceramics in that era and he left behind a considerable body of internationally acclaimed works which is collected worldwide.
