'Portrait of a Young Woman in Bust' (early 1900s), watercolour and pencil on fine paper, by British artist, Sara Page, (1855 - 1943). A delightful portrait whose subject is attired in the distinctive wear of this era. The work is reminiscent of photos of suffragettes from the early part of the 20th century. Her dress is blue-striped with a frilly neckline, her hat with bow and ribbon. She rests comfortably in an armchair, her head angled to her left in bust. A short video clip of this work can be provided upon request.
