'Portrait of a Posing Nude', oil on board, by V.R. (Circa 1940 -1950). A cubist depiction of a model posing nude for the artist. From the 'School of Berlin', this piece is most certainly inspired by Picasso and the cubists from the pre and post-WWII era. Sensual curves, muted and subtle earth tones and wonderful execution of the work invite the viewer to embrace it completely.
