Pair of blown Murano glass globe table lamps (circa 1950s) in the style of Paulo Venini. Modernist and elegant, these blown Murano glass globe lamps provide an intimate source of lighting which is both functional and decorative. The stripe effect was ahead of its time in terms of capturing and amplifying light's interaction with glass. Lamps rest on a brass-covered base. In good vintage condition commensurate with age. There is evident blemishing on the dark brass-covered base. Please see accompanying photos for details. Re-wired for UK use. Upon request, a video of the lamps can be provided.
