Mid-century Italian wall mirror with brass frame (circa 1950s). The mirror is in the form of a shield, or more whimsically, shaped like a slice of bread. Still classically elegant and distinctive in a modern Gio Ponti style. This piece is in very good vintage condition. There is some minor but characterful tarnish on the brass frame and blemishes on the glass commensurate with age and usage.
