Vintage French leaf-shaped ceramic dish by Marcel Guillot (circa 1960s). An impressive, modern dish with speckled, matt, off-white interior surface and leaf motif with slightly raised tactile lines such as leaf veins. In contrast, the bottom surface is of a lustrous, black enamel up to the lip. A unique piece from a French artisan whose works are becoming more appreciated as his reputation soars. This gallery has another with brown trim. This piece is in good vintage condition commensurate with age. Guillot's later pieces such as this one were stamped, 'Guillot France' rather than signed. Please view the many accompanying photos with this listing. Upon request a video may be provided.
