A rare, beautifully colourful large mushroom-shaped planter by German ceramicist and sculptor, Klaus Schultze (1927- ). 

Dark grey and white glaze on the external sides and lip contrast with a vibrant red interior lifting this piece from the everyday and ordinary to a work of art.  

Klaus Schultze is a German artist known for his ceramics and brickwork. Many of his large-scale sculptures can found in public space in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and Israel.
