Ceramic sunburst mirror with glazed highlights by La Roue, Vallauris, France (Circa 1950s). A charming rustic mirror with colourful decorative glazed details surrounding the circular mirror and emanating from the individual rays. In very good vintage condition commensurate with its age and usage. Unsigned.

Atelier La Roue was based in the famous village of ceramicists, Vallauris, in the South of France. La Roue had a reputation for making the highest quality and most original ceramics in its day.
