Aluminium and brass brutalist candle stand in the style of David Marshall (circa 1970s). Vaguely assuming the human form, this curvy aluminium and brass candle stand has presence, weight and character. So elegant it can stand on its own in the room. Both the brass and aluminium shine brightly however the nicks, dings and weathered markings add character, interest and tactility. Unsigned and unattributed. This piece is in good vintage condition with characterful marks consistent with its fabrication, age and usage. Upon request a video of the work will be provided.
