Very small ceramic vase with bird motif by Olivier Pettit (circa 1960s). A miniature milk jug shape, the piece presents its stylised birds and flower decor in a band around the body. In fair overall condition with maker's mark on the underside. 

About the Artist:  Olivier Pettit (1918-1979) born in Paris and was an alumni of the Beaux-Arts there. He is best known as a French sculptor and ceramicist. His works are widely collected and show at the major European auction houses. He died in 1979 in Draguignan.
