Ceramic table lamp in the style of Georges Pelletier (circa 1970s). An oatmeal-coloured base glaze forms the background for this delightful arabesque ceramic piece. Terracotta coloured patches add visual interest. The piece is perforated with circular forms throughout. Just below are quadrants also with open circles in the body. There is a bulb housed within the body of the piece as well. When turned on, the light refracts beautifully through these openings, casting illuminated forms across the surfaces of the room. An homage certainly to Georges Pelletier. In good overall condition and in working order. Signed on the body but not legible. Currently wired for use in the UK. Lampshade for presentation only and not part of sale.
