Pair of Murano Glass Tables Lamps (circa 1970s)

Pair of Murano glass table lamps with plated brass (circa 1970s). Very elegant, these two table lamps are composed of individual glass pieces, like icicles which hang from a tree's branches in winter. When illuminated, they emit a muted, sensuous and soulful luminescence. They are functional yet decorative and certain to elicit delight in the room. The Murano glass does not steal the show completely as it still allows the plated brass base top, base and structure to shine...literally. The contrast is wonderful.
