Mid-century small ceramic vase (circa 1960s) by Jacques Pouchain (1925 - 2005) for Atelier Dieulefit. This paintbrush holder-shaped vase in this cloudy glaze is certainly representative of Pouchain's trademark style. Pouchain uses geometric shapes bordered by straight lines on the body of the vase and the more horizontal brown cloudy glaze in the tapered upper portion leading to its mouth. Inviting and joyful to behold. In very good vintage condition. Signed: 'L'Atelier Dieulefit' on the underside. Please view all accompanying photos with this listing to appreciate the aesthetics and condition of this piece. Upon request a video clip can be provided.
