Ceramic Table Lamp by Georges Pelletier (circa 1970s)
0198
Bottle-shaped ceramic table lamp by Georges Pelletier (circa 1970s). An earth tone base glaze forms the background for three bands of shiny gold craquelure. A very original piece, it has two bulbs: one on top and one which illuminates the interior which is inserted from the hollow in the base. The light which emanates is atmospheric and diffused via the beaded large and small holes. Quintessential Pelletier and a true collector's item for connoisseurs of this master. In very good vintage condition commensurate with age. Signed: 'Pelletier'. Currently wired for use in the UK. Lampshade for display only and not part of sale. Upon request a video clip of the piece may be provided.
