'Cubist Still Life with Bottles' — Florentine School, oil on canvas mounted on board, (circa 1980s–90s). A table scene of bottles, glassware, fruit, and folded forms is fractured into angular planes and overlapping fields of colour, recalling both Picasso and Italian modernist traditions. The artist demonstrates a sensitive use of colour, balancing muted tones of lilac, sage, and ivory against deeper accents of blue, wine, and ochre. This geometric abstraction both grounds the objects in recognisable form and dissolves them into a rhythmic, near-musical composition. The painting is in good overall condition, is newly framed with a linen slip and is signed in the lower left hand, 'Tina'. Please enjoy the many photos accompanying the listing. Upon request a video will be provided.

About the Art: This gallery has acquired a number of paintings through an intermediary of an ageing art professor from the Istituto di Arte di Porta Romana, Florence, Italy. The professor released works of artists whom he mentored over the years. We are unsure who painted the series we acquired as several are just signed, 'Giacomo', or, left completely unsigned, yet many are clearly by the same artist.
