French decorative stoneware vase (circa 1980s). Discovered in the South of France, this very modern, elliptical-shape delights visually and its lustrous, textural enamel finish is sometimes interrupted by an organic, sandy graininess. The vase is like a river skipping-stone in vertical form. Overall, the effect is of tranquility and Zen-like stillness. Regrettably, it is unsigned and unattributed. It is in good overall condition. Please enjoy the many photos accompanying the listing.
