Aluminium and Brass Brutalist Style Clock by David Marshall (circa 1980s)
SKU 2177
An aluminium and brass brutalist style decorative clock by David Marshall (circa 1980s). The piece is weighty and wonderfully tactile with the maker's mark impressed on the clock's base. Like all of David Marshall's works this one is also elegantly rugged, beautifully trodden and irregularly formed. It looks like it's had a rough life and therein lies its beauty. Raw, brutal and beautiful. This piece is in good overall condition with characterful marks and an aged patina consistent with its age and usage. The clock is in working order - the pendulum swings back and forth - with a new battery operated mechanism. Upon request a video of the clock will be provided.
