Vintage Italian ceramic bowl by Alessio Tasca (1962). A delightful frieze of geometric shapes encircle the piece. The fading colours in yellow and orange simply add even more character to a vintage piece by this world renowned Italian ceramicist. The interior recess of the modestly-sized bowl is a plane creamy white. It is showing its age yet at the same time has magnified in beauty and distinctiveness. About the Artist: Alessio Tasca was born in Nove, Vicenza, Italy in 1929. Tasca is a world renowned prize-winning ceramicist whose creations appear in institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome. His creations have been honoured in la Biennale in Venice and appeared in the Salone di Milano.
