Italian Ceramic Hedgehog by Alessio Tasca (circa 1970s)
SKU 1582
Italian ceramic hedgehog sculpture (circa 1970s) by Alessio Tasca (born 1929). This endearing, minimalist ceramic hedgehog is of the Italian school style most likely inspired by the works of his compatriot, Bruno Gambone. Combining curves, playfulness and serious sculpture, the figure oozes character and charm. The glaze is tactile and sensuous and the look, mid-century modern. In very good overall condition.
