The three-sided brass body rises from a triangular base with faceted sides tapering to a slender, flared neck. As the light moves across it, each facet catches a different tone of warm, brushed gold, giving the piece a lovely presence. High Society’s lamps combined architectural shapes with fine Italian metalwork, and the \u003cem\u003ePiramide\u003c\/em\u003e became one of the defining designs of 1970s Italian lighting. This version is ideal for a desk or a console. The lamp is in good operating condition. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe exterior is in fair overall condition, with characterful marks, light scratches and a patina consistent with its age. Seen from just a short distance, these signs of use soften into the background, and the piece shows off its full character. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThis lamp retains a partial original sticker bearing an ‘H’ monogram, believed to be the High Society label. It is currently wired for European use but can be easily adapted to your location either by changing the plug or simply using an adapter.
