Vintage French ceramic single-flower vase by Pierre Koppe (circa 1970s). A ceramic body in the form of a woman with whimsical gaze. Would be perfect as a decorative object in the home or as a single flower vase. Both visually delightful and tactile at once. Maker's signature on the underside. In good overall condition. Upon request a video may be provided.

About the Artist: Pierre Koppe was born in 1931 in France. In 1951, he entered the Beaux-Arts de Nancy where he completed his artistic studies. In 2006, he was chosen by the writer and director, Philippe Claudel, to illustrate his book entitled “The World Without Children”. Primarily known as a painter, his portraits and fanciful forms mingle in order to lull us into his imaginary world. A multitude of characters, big, opulent, small or colourful inhabit his paintings and ceramics.
