He was a close associate of other well known artists, Charles Camoin and Albert Marquet. He exhibited his works in Paris' \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eSalon des Indépendents\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e in 1905, in the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eSalon de l'Union Artistique\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e of Toulouse in 1908-1910 and had an artistic presence in the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eSalon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. His last exhibit was in the \u003cem\u003eSalon des Tuileries\u003c\/em\u003e in June of 1929. In December of that same year, his body was recovered, having drowned in the Seine river and later moved \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eto the famous Père-Lachaise cemetery. Because of the evident quality of his art, his works have been sold at auction and collected internationally.
