Its grand, atmospheric interior, with its distinctive architecture and bustling brigade of white-aproned waitstaff, has made it a popular subject for painters seeking to capture the energy of traditional French brasserie culture. This artist's rendering depicts the crowded dining hall and the raised bar area in the rear of the artwork. In the forefront, a waiter in traditional black and white attire tends to the seated patrons.
