Tonello and A. Montagna Grillo for High Society. This is a smaller size from the series. The three-sided brass body rises from a triangular base with faceted sides tapering to a slender, flared neck. As the light moves across it, each facet catches a different tone of warm, brushed gold, giving the piece a lovely presence. This smaller version is ideal for a bedside table, desk or console. The lamp is in good operating condition with some characterful blemishes, scratches and a patina consistent with age. It is currently wired for European use but can be easily adapted to your location either by changing the plug or simply using an adapter. Tonello and A. Montagna Grillo. Their ‘Piramide’ series, with its faceted, geometric forms, became the company’s signature design.
