Ask a Question

This elegantly avocado-shaped ceramic vase is smoothly sensuous, tactile and beautifully decorated.  Assumed to be from the mid-20th century, it is initialed by its creator on the bottom, 'C.R.'  It is avocado green with a crescent-shaped dark brown brush stroke across the upper half and what appear to be deliberately decorative 'crack marks' inserted on a part of the lower half of the shape in the same colour.  This is a special piece and immediately attractive.  Once held, impossible to put down.

Very good vintage condition.
