Vintage, mid-century modern ceramic lamp (c. 1950s) by Alessio Tasca. Hand-painted studio ceramic with original design motif consisting of a series of elongated chalk-white semi-circles from the bottom to the neck over a base of deep blue. As the work was hand-painted, it shows real character and perfectly complements the bottle shape which is slightly concave on the sides with sensuous rounded shoulders. In excellent vintage condition commensurate with age. Maker's mark and production number on the bottom: '1467 Tasca Italy'. Currently wired for UK plugs and can be modified. Lamp shade not included. A short video clip can be provided upon request.
