'Opera Garnier Paris', limited edition lithograph by Urbain Huchet (1930  -      ). In very good condition, on paper, newly framed and under glass. Signed in pencil by the artist in lower righthand corner: Huchet. Numbered by artist in his own hand in lower lefthand corner: 215/250.

This lively image of the Opera Garnier in Paris is pure Huchet. Elegantly dressed patrons of the opera make their way to a performance in probably the most famous opera house in the world and a symbol of Paris. Of course that is partly due to its use as the setting for 'The Phantom of the Opera'. The beautiful building has been described as the only one that is 'unquestionably a masterpiece of the first rank.' Huchet captures it perfectly in this lighthearted but uplifting work of art. For those lovers of Paris, the opera, phantoms and vivid colour, this piece is completely accessible and charming. It is newly framed, under glass and in excellent condition.

A short video clip of this work can be provided upon request.
