Ask a Question

'Forest's Edge in Autumn', oil on board, by unknown artist (circa 1960s). For those lovers of cool weather, wooly sweaters, gold, yellow and red-falling leaves, the smell of wood-burning fireplaces and sipping on hot toddies at a bonfire, this artwork will not disappoint. It's autumn and the white-barked sycamore trees in this painting are dropping their foliage at the edge of the forest. The blue sky peeks through the trees uplifting the mood of the painting and the spirits of the viewer. The quality of the artist's work is unquestionable and it is disappointing that it was not signed. In good vintage condition commensurate with age. Newly framed with linen slip. Upon request, a video clip of the work will be provided for added context.
