Mid-Century Modern French ceramic vase by Dominique Guillot, Vallauris, France (circa 1960s). Classically shaped with a modern geometric motif, the vase is visually stunning and tactile at the same time. Its natural earth tones with grey-blue bands are very stylish and adaptable to a wide range of décor. It is in good vintage condition with a minute blemish visible on the lip. It is signed on the underside. Dominique Guillot was active in the 20th century in Vallauris, France, the town in the French Riviera made famous by its pottery industry and the presence of world renowned artist and resident, Pablo Picasso from 1948 into the 1950s.
